Delta – Kico Camacho, 2015.
Delta is the sculpture leading out on the gardens of La Nave Va.
It is a schematic drawing forged in metal that depicts the undulations of the pond and the hills that make up the garden. The sinuous lines of the riverbeds in which the river branches up along the delta on its journey into the sea are the very inspiration for Delta.
The work proposes a transformable space based on polyurethane plates that cover small ponds that serve as “water mirrors”. The underlying intention is to create a forest of these mirrors acting as a transit between two spaces: the interior and the exterior of the barn.
